  3. I didnt say u dont hit hard surfaces. I m just sayin there r special way of hitting it. not find a sand bag and hit it many times. Without a instructor u ll get some ugly side effects n might not even get ur precious iron palm but a broken hand instead. But wat do i noe….he's the man wif the robe.   4. yeah well i am not into Iron Qigong anymore, and yes i learned a few tricks from an instructor for a while. and no im not saying he's right because he's "A SHAOLIN MONK" ohhhhhhh just cuz he's wearing a robe, he knows it all and everyone is against you……. no
    but im saying i been taught stuff and what you said before was untrue.

    And i think its funny how i have a negative rating for speaking the truth…ha ha
    like i dont know what i am talking about.only on youtube can one know everything

  5. i thought iron palm was the conditioning technique…not an actually blow or punching style…and wing chun is more about defensive blocking than offensive striking

  6. When I was training in iron palm, I used a muslin fabric, you could use cordura (Backpack fabric), I made a bag, and then filled it with mung beans. It lasted for about 6 months before the beans were powder. Easy to refill and make. I have also used sand and pea stone.

  7. Check out the lack of symetry in his conditioning. He is obviously right handed. Each time as he goes to show the left side it is very akward and without any power, as the body is not engauged.
    He must not actually do these exercises himself.

  8. If you can't find mung beans, sand can be an acceptable alternative to fill the bag with.

    Though the consistency is obviously different from mung beans, 'iron skills' are more about dedicated practice and less about what kind of beans you have. That's my 2 cents; I could be wrong though.

  10. jeet kune do is the way, as an experienced martial artist, i think after every style i have studied, jeet kune do makes the most sense to me. by accepting that every style has its strong and weak points you open your mind to learning strictly a martial art consisting of things that simply work.     i have a thick newspaper i hang from the roof against my concert wall in the basement to use for punching

    if i had a partner i'd do it to his head, so that way he gets iron skull while i get iron palm 😉 i bet thats the yin secret 2 for one.

    i use the newspaper against the wall though, try to punch it everyday, i notice a mad improvement, i haven't been doing it for too long and i can already punch pretty hard surfaces pretty hard without feeling it

That's partly true – but firstly – I never said it was a Shaolin Secret – Iron palm has been created in many disciplines with their own name – secondly, there are secrets that need to be protected in every discipline – that is the reason you don't know of them – but they are right under your nose usually.

    That said, since this is the knowledge Age – more and more of them are being revealed.

    if you really intend to know – watch videos from youtube username "yogameditation" – oh and for your question, secret means secret.. And its surely never told in a form of complete concluded words – although that depends on the nature of the topic.

  18. I wouldnt call him religious because that means he follows a set of rules based on a certain religion – he does not preach about any religion.

    Kung Fu or any ancient martial arts system was designed with mind body and spirit – you cannot focus on body and expect to become destructive – at least not in terms of what legends speak of… you need to make all 3 as one, as they really are…

  19. Expert village ? This will be pretty poor, this is surely not a real shaolin. Shaolins dont talk so much like vacuum cleaner home sellers. And what is this good for? Maybe when you are bored and want to invest many hours to train something that wouldnt even help you in a real fight. Its the same as doing 100 push ups. Its good, but for what,?

  20. this training was ifented by hung gar warrioirs because in hung gar you have verry few techniques so their arms must be as hard as steel lol

  21. Real iron palm isn't traned on a pillow. in real iron palm you pretty much beats your hands bloody.
    you doesn't do it for "100 times". you do it for 2 hours a day and you hit a tree or a wall with only a blanket protecting your hand/fists. Too get a hard skeleton you must pretty much hurt yourself. bone-hardening can only happen if the bones actually get hurt and cracked. put a blanket on hes blocks and hit and you got more realistic iron palm. hitting that pillow wont make your fists harder

    No. you start hard. Otherwise you'll just harden the skin, too harden the bone you'll have too damage it, because the body always harden damages harder then it originally was in case of future damages.
    too start with sandbags and papers is just a waste of time. Ask the real shaolin monks. they start with hitting a wall. always as hard as possible. you'll make your bone harder and your hits stronger.

    it will only weaken your bones if you damage it too much. when they're damage you let them heal. But too start on paper etc is really a waste of time. all you do is too raise your own pain limit if you have a low one. i know some start simple, but thats just unnecessary.

    whne you train your head you should start with planks. hitting your head in the wall is stupid yes. thats why planks are good, instead of giving you concusions etc they'll break and the skeleton will still get harden enough too harden.

  28. @TheRandomDeity you would be surprised at how quickly 100-200 times goes past! "Feel the burn" is a literal phrase. You know you've worked your body out when you can feel it later – although obviously not to excruciating extents. If you feel you are out of shape, make a change for the better! Your body will thank you in the long run 🙂

  31. hi i saw a video of you showing internal iron palm, You push down, front up and to the side imagining pushing something hard you remember i cant find the video. I need to see it because i practice it and actually learned it somewhere else just comparing the two, pls write back.
