Martial Arts Training & Fitness : Quad Stretch for Martial Arts Fitness

Hi! This next exercise we’re going to do is
for the quads, which is the top of the leg. The best way to do it for your knee is to
have it this way, not that way. This way in tight, foot down. You’re going to put your
calf down like that, and if you’re not flexible just be here on your elbows. If you are, slowly
lower down until you lay completely down and just hold this down right here. Hold it until
you feel that it’s not so tight anymore. Then you come up and go to the other side. Tuck
this under. Once again, if you’re not flexible, start here and then say, “Is this okay?” And
if this is okay, then you go all the way down.

  1. wow you are flexible. I can barely get my leg under me while sitting up. My quads are super tight. I wonder if that's part of the reason my knees are so bad?
