CALAB LABARDA: Oh, hi. My name is Calab Labarda.
I’m a third degree black belt in Taekwondo. I’m here with Expert Village, and today, I’m
going to teach you how to use speed chucks. Alright, now, we’re going to be going over
combos and how to put them together, okay? If you’re doing a nunchuck form or Kata, okay.
You want to have your nunchuck form from start to finish, always use your nunchucks, even
if you’re doing rolls or flips, high-flying flips, okay. You always want to use your nunchucks
from start to finish, okay. So, go ahead and practice, watch yourself in the mirror, just
stand regular, okay, face the mirror, go with your basic L strikes, okay? And you want to
practice switching from each move with out stopping or having a hard time or stumbling,
okay? So you want to keep going from here, going to your Xs, okay, and just do the same
form I’m doing it, okay? Going to your Xs, and from here, you want to switch ups, one,
two, three, four. Switch ups. Go back to your Ls. Your L’s are going to be your basic strike.
So, there you go. And then go around the neck, one, two, switch around, bam, okay? Then,
going to your Xs, put it all together, helicopter spins, okay. Now, what else do we go over?
We went over our wrist spins, one, two, around the wrist, four, okay? Then, just put them
altogether, yah, yah, yah, yah, yah, whish, yah, yah, yah, switching levels, spin, okay,
so, start off slow, and as you get better, start moving faster and faster with you nunchucks.
Get a nice smooth motion. You don’t want to look choppy or anything like that. And those
are your basic combos, okay? You can make any sort of combos you want in different order,
any way you like.
