Boxing Poetry in Motion – Muhammad Ali Motivation Tribute
Cassius Clay is a name no more is that right?
Yes sir it’s Muhammad Ali. Muhammad means worthy of all praises and Ali means most kind
asian African language. He’s a poet, a prophet, and many people believe he’ll be the next
heavyweight champion of the world. Man, lightning fast. He was a tremendous bolt of lightning.
See Ali this is the only thing about Ali, when you were watching Ali get beat up as
an old man even as a young kid, he’s not gonna quit you gotta kill him. He won’t
quit. Ali’s a giant. Ali’s a savage he’s an animal. He was a different breed of person.
He’s not like us. Why won’t you call me my name man? Well what’s your name? You
told me your name was Cassius Clay. I never told you my name was Cassius Clay. My name
is Muhammad Ali and you will announce it right there in the center of that ring after the
fight if you don’t do it now. He was leaning back. Joe’s gonna come out smoking, but
I ain’t gonna be joking, I’ll be picking and poking, pouring water on his smoking.
This might shock and amaze ya, but I will destroy Joe Frazier! One of the most dominant
athletes in the history of sports. I’ve done something new for this fight. I done
wrestled with an alligator. That’s right. I have wrestled with an alligator, I done
tussled with a whale; I done handcuffed lightning, thrown thunder in jail, that’s bad. Only
last week, I murdered a rock, injured a stone, hospitalised a brick. I’m so mean I make medicine
sick. Bad dude. Bad. Fast. Fast. Last night I cut the light off in my bedroom, hit the
switch, was in the bed before the room was dark! Fast! And you, George Foreman, all of
you chumps are gonna bow, when I whoop him. All of ya! I know you got him, I know you
got him picked. But the man’s in trouble. I’mma show you how great I am!
